High Voltage Electrical Testing Technician - Sydney Join to apply for the High Voltage Electrical Testing Technician - Sydney role at Stowe Australia Overview Stowe Australia is seeking a High Voltage Electrical Technician with strong technical & practical experience in maintaining, testing and servicing high voltage equipment to join our Western Sydney team. About The Role Our Western Division office located in Penrith specialises in high voltage infrastructure works, as well as high and low voltage testing, maintenance, and commissioning. We carry out small, medium, and large-scale projects for our premium client base and provide a rapid response 24‑hour service for breakdowns. This Role Will Require You To Perform all works in a safe, effective, and productive manner. Always perform work in accordance with Project Specific Risk Management Plan (PSRMP). Report all unsafe practices, safety hazards, injuries, and incidents immediately to your Supervisor. Complete Inspection & Testing Procedures. Be computer literate and maintain up‑to‑date paperwork. Ensure compliance to all relevant Australian Standards. Maintain ongoing skills development and Electrical licensing requirements. Ensure isolations are conducted in accordance with Stowe Australia’s mandatory 4 stages of isolation procedure. Ensure all electrical work is conducted in accordance with the Stowe Australia Arc Flash Clothing requirements. About You To be successful you will need: Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of high voltage testing throughout the employee engagement process. Have experience in high voltage switching. Extensive experience in maintaining transformers, switchboards, ring main units, circuit breakers, substation/industrial control systems and power factor correction equipment. Current unrestricted NSW Electrical Licence. A self‑motivated approach with an ability to work unsupervised. Current CPR & LV Rescue Certificate. Construction Industry General Safety Induction. Current Driver’s Licence. Good communication skills – interpersonal & organisational. Reliable and punctual attendance to work. Contributes to achieve desired outcomes and a positive work culture.
