About the role Reporting to the Managing Legal Counsel, this role operates within the Investment Legal team with responsibility for the provision of legal advice and management of legal risk for the Investment Team. Responsibilities Provide timely, accurate and commercially astute legal advice on Cbus’ investments. Support the development and implementation of legal processes and procedures. Scope and oversee the work of external legal counsel. Undertake the legal review and negotiation of contractual documentation, manager and service agreements, ensuring material service provider arrangements are compliant with CPS230. Provide legal services relating to a variety of complex transactions, corporate law, financial services, investment management and superannuation issues. Qualifications Prior experience as a legal professional preferably gained in an investment management firm, superannuation environment or with a well‑regarded law firm or similar in‑house environment.
