In Tasmania, our Contamination Assessment & Remediation team is on the lookout for our next graduate in 2026 Based out of our Hobart office and with a degree in Environmental Science or Environmental Engineering , your interest in getting out into the field on a wide variety of projects throughout Tasmania and beyond will serve you in good stead in this position. Working with an energetic and high‑performing team, this position offers a variety of work and will see you involved in: Implementing environmental investigations with intermediate and senior staff, including field investigations, drilling (various rig types), monitoring well and soil vapour installation oversight, and coordination of environmental monitoring (soil, sediment, groundwater, soil vapour, surface water). Field oversight of contractors. Assistance with field scope development, scheduling and budgeting. Assistance with data compilation and interpretation. Preparation of technical environmental reports for senior review. Maintain safety training to conduct environmental contaminated site work. Our two‑year Graduate Development Program is designed to give you a smooth start to your consulting career. Alongside your peers, managers and mentors, we’ll help you detangle any challenges along the way. What you will bring to the team Will graduate by December 2025 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Engineering or Environmental Science or equivalent. 0 to 2 years of experience in environmental consulting. Strong interest in chemistry, soil, groundwater, contamination assessment and remediation methods. Knowledge of contaminated sites regulation and associated guidance, protocols, and guidelines. Ability to work independently and in a team environment. Proficiency with Microsoft Office. Excellent writing and verbal communication to effectively express technical information to multiple audiences including subcontractors, clients and colleagues. Strong technical writing, data analysis and interpretation skills. Valid full driver’s licence and comfort with long‑distance and off‑road driving (training will be provided).
