Environmental Consultant (1 Day per fortnight) Australian Environment Business Network (AEBN) – Melbourne VIC Job Advertisement: Environmental Consultant (One Day per Fortnight) Are you passionate about the environment and skilled at turning complex information into clear, practical guidance? We are seeking a motivated Environmental Consultant to join our team on a one day per fortnight basis to write our fortnightly e-newsletter. Candidates must have worked in an environmental role previously or currently and hold a Bachelor's degree to be considered for this position. Criteria In this role, you will: Research updates, trends, and regulatory changes within the environmental government sector Professional experience in the environmental sector is required to effectively research and analyse regulatory changes and industry trends. Prepare clear, concise summaries and articles to help our members stay informed about their environmental obligations Contribute to improving industry awareness and compliance This position is fully remote and can be undertaken from anywhere within Australia. It is ideal for professionals who have environmental experience and value flexible work that supports environmental responsibility across the industry. The role will commence on the first week of February 2026 until the first week of December 2026. We then take a break and recommence in February of the following year. You must be an Australian citizen for this remote position. If you have strong research and writing skills, an eye for detail, and an interest in environmental regulation, we'd love to hear from you. A minimum of 1-2 years of professional environmental and/or writing experience is required for this role.
