This role is in our tunneling team for water, hydroelectric, and transportation sectors in Australasia. Responsibilities Permanent and temporary structural design for tunnels, caverns and underground spaces Supporting the production of design deliverables including drawings, specifications and reports Tunnel condition assessment and remediation design What You Will Bring To The Team (Qualifications) Minimum of 5 years’ experience in tunnelling projects Experience in assessment of geotechnical data and geo-structural design for ground support of shafts and tunnels Strong communication skills to interface with geotechnics, dams, structures and markets across transport, water, hydropower and energy Ability to work semi-independently, delivering projects with appropriate team members and knowing when to seek guidance Well established written and verbal skills, ability to communicate complex issues concisely Ability to communicate openly and build relationships with peers and clients Relevant tertiary qualification; postgraduate qualifications are favorable Chartered status (e.g., CPEng, RPEQ, VPEQ) is highly desirable; if not, working towards it About Us GHD is an equal opportunity employer.
