Waste Education Officer

Waste Education Officer – Casual Pool Location: Mundijong, Western Australia (45 minutes from Perth CBD). Commencing end of January 2026. 8‑week program. Casual pool. What You’ll Be Doing Audit residential bins, tag, and share helpful feedback with residents (early starts at 6am to align with bin collection). Connect with the community through door‑to‑door conversations about waste reduction and recycling (flexible 3‑5 hour shifts). Keep things running smoothly with accurate data entry and record‑keeping. Be part of the action on Mondays and Tuesdays – availability on these days is essential. What We’re Looking For Demonstrated conflict resolution experience. Excellent communication and people skills. Friendly, positive, and community‑focused approach. Ability to work independently in a team of two. Training, interest, or experience in waste, sustainability, or environmental management. Flexible, reliable, and able to adapt to changing conditions. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow set procedures. Basic data entry skills. Fit, energetic, and comfortable working outdoors in all weather. \ Requirements Current driver’s licence and own vehicle (m reimbursed). Current Police Clearance. Ability to pass a pre‑employment medical (including drug & alcohol screening). Valid Australian working rights. The Benefits Casual hourly rate: $35.90 per hour.
