As a hands‑on technology leader with full‑stack experience, you will lead a team of engineers designing and implementing solutions while influencing the Value Streams Leads, Product Owner & Crew Tech Lead. You will own what you build in a full cycle engineering model and work with the latest technologies and frameworks (.Net Core, React, Angular, Azure, AWS, Containerisation with potential for NodeJS/NextJS & AI). We’re interested in hearing from people who: Have solid hands‑on experience developing APIs, microservices, backend components, data access layers, and driving innovative process improvements that add significant business value Are knowledgeable and experienced in AI technology for future‑proofing our build Are passionate about designing, developing and deploying high‑quality software solutions and shaping the technical evolution of this system by contributing to end‑to‑end design, implementation Have experience with the full software development lifecycle and delivery using Agile practices, focusing on source control, CI/CD, automated testing, infrastructure cloud pipelines, logging and monitoring Are ready to execute state‑of‑the‑art coding practices, driving high quality outcomes to solve core business objectives and minimise risks Pride themselves on their natural drive to educate, communicate and positively influence various stakeholder groups Have solid experience with cloud‑native development in AWS Are comfortable coaching junior engineers and uplifting software development practices Tech skills Backend: .NET, C#, or willingness to learn Frontend: React.js, Next.js, Angular.js Architecture: Deep expertise in microservices, GraphQL (Apollo), RESTful APIs, and domain‑driven design CI/CD: GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Bitbucket Pipelines, GitLab Runners Cloud: AWS Containerisation: Docker or Kubernetes GenAI Studio (Copilot/RooCode/Cline) (Preferred) Working with us Whether you’re passionate about customer service, driven by data, or called by creativity, a career with CommBank is for you.
