About the Role Assess client borrowing capacity and loan options, ensuring the most suitable lender and product are sourced. Prepare, lodge, and manage loan applications, liaising with lenders to achieve approvals within required timelines. Gather and verify supporting documents from clients, ensuring files are accurate, compliant, and up to date. Order and manage property valuations, including disputing low valuations where required. Communicate regularly with Finance Specialists, clients, and other stakeholders (lenders, conveyancers, solicitors) on application progress and status. Support settlements and post‑settlement processes, including mortgage documents, funding sheets, compliance checks, and client follow‑up. About You You take pride in getting the details right. You spot small errors that others miss and feel genuinely satisfied when you know a file is accurate, complete, and ready to progress. Most importantly, you care deeply about the people behind each application. Helping clients achieve meaningful life goals—like buying their first home—gives you a sense of purpose and reminds you why you enjoy working in credit and lending. Selection Criteria Proven experience in credit, mortgage broking, or banking, with a strong understanding of credit assessment, loan processes, and compliance.
