As we unlock the untapped potential within our THE ROLE Applications are sought from experienced Underground Mining Engineers to join the expanding team at Ora Banda as we promote some of our existing Mining Engineers to Planning roles. The responsibilities of this role will include: Assist with mine designs, dump designs, mining methods, equipment needs and recovery costs Undertake production scheduling activities Assist with ventilation surveys Undertake Short, medium and long term planning activities Develop drill and blast designs Examine mining methods and equipment to investigate opportunities to improve Monitor day to day mining operations against agreed plans and quality control standards Support the review of operating costs against budget Project work as required Undertake any other duties as may be specified from time to time by the Senior Mining Engineer or delegate ABOUT YOU To be considered for the role, you will have the following qualifications, skills and experience : Tertiary qualification in mining engineering or related discipline 2 years' experience in underground mining operations Understanding of relevant legislation and regulations Skilled in mine planning and scheduling software Strong interpersonal and communication skills Current WA C class manual drivers licence Your motivation : We are looking for people who want to make a difference, love to challenge themselves and others to do better and pursue solutions with intent.
