Senior Project Manager / Project Director – High-Rise Residential (Brisbane) About the Organisation This is a growing, values-led property consultancy with a national footprint and a presence in key international markets. The Opportunity An exciting opportunity exists for a seasoned Senior Project Manager or Project Director to lead the delivery of a landmark high-rise residential development in Brisbane. This role offers the chance to shape a project of significant scale and impact—bringing together design excellence, commercial rigor, and community vision. You’ll oversee the full project lifecycle, from early concept and feasibility through to procurement, construction delivery, and handover. Working closely with clients, consultants, and contractors, you’ll drive outcomes that balance quality, budget, and time—while fostering collaboration and accountability across all phases. This project will run for 5 years and offers the opportunity to work on a once in a lifetime program. Key Responsibilities Lead end-to-end project delivery , ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and stakeholder expectations. Manage design teams , influence outcomes, and guide the evolution of architectural and engineering solutions. Drive procurement and delivery , overseeing tendering, contract negotiations, and construction execution. Administer contracts across various forms, ensuring compliance, risk mitigation, and commercial performance. Engage stakeholders with clarity and confidence—facilitating workshops, resolving issues, and maintaining trust. Monitor financials and schedules , ensuring the project is delivered on time, within scope, and to budget. Champion governance and quality , upholding best practice standards and regulatory compliance. About You You’re a strategic leader with deep experience in complex built-form projects and a passion for delivering excellence. You bring: Tertiary qualifications in Construction, Project Management, Architecture, Engineering, or a related discipline. 8+ years’ experience managing large-scale residential design and construction projects, ideally within a client-side or consultancy environment. Strong design phase capability , with the ability to lead meetings, influence outcomes, and align design with project goals. Proven procurement and delivery leadership , including risk management and team coordination. Contract administration expertise , with experience across various contract forms and commercial negotiations. Financial and program management skills , with a track record of delivering projects to budget and schedule.
