Join to apply for the Maintenance Electrician role at New World Consulting Our client, a privately owned leader in Food Processing, has presented a career‑enhancing opening for Full‑Time Day‑Shift Maintenance Electrician at their Broadmeadows, VIC facility. Hourly Rate: $52‑57 + super Shift: 5/6am – 1.30/2.30pm, Monday to Friday Overtime: Available for those interested – x2.0 Workday: 8‑hour shifts, 38‑hour week Key Responsibilities Key focus on Automation‑related project work Organise and maintain the day‑to‑day running of the sites automated production lines, associated plant/equipment and fixed property Keep equipment performing to its required production rate, exceeding these rates where possible Maintaina preventative maintenance program in relation to the production line to ensure there are minimal unplanned stoppages and breakdowns Ideal Candidate Full A‑grade electrical licence and good understanding of fault finding and repair of high‑speed production machinery, such as conveyors, robots, packaging Experience in FMCG environment with understanding of good manufacturing processes and hygiene requirements Motor control, PLC (troubleshooting/fault‑finding) and VSD experience Very positive attitude, motivated by continuous learning and communicates positive energy to the team Benefits Opportunity and encouragement to grow into leadership roles especially in Capital Projects with Automation development Tools provided Discount on company products Collaborative and team driven culture Supportive leaders who believe in autonomy and growth Only candidates with full working rights in Australia can be considered.
