We are seeking a dedicated Accounts Payable Officer to play a critical role in ensuring business suppliers are paid accurately and on time. This position involves hands‑on management of the full accounts payable process and reconciliation. What You'll Be Doing The primary purpose of this role is to manage the end-to-end accounts payable process, providing essential financial and administrative support to the team. Key responsibilities will include: Supplier Payments: Perform weekly and ad‑hoc payment runs, ensuring timely and accurate disbursement to suppliers. Reconciliation & Compliance: Reconcile creditors accounts and ensure compliance with internal controls and policies. Financial Administration: Process employee expense claims and maintain supplier banking details. Stakeholder Engagement: Engage in regular communication with stakeholders to maintain understanding of matters impacting the accounts payable process. What You'll Bring We are looking for a professional with a strong focus on customer service and accuracy who meets the following essential requirements: Accounts Payable Experience (Essential): Proven, hands‑on experience working with computer‑based accounts payable systems. Technical Skills: Basic understanding of accounting and banking principles. Experience with ERPs and strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel). Education: A Year 12 certificate and a basic accounting diploma or certificate is required. Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential for effective query resolution and stakeholder engagement.
