Goodstart Early Learning – Prospect Vale TAS Employment Type: 15 hours per week | Fixed Term Contract Pay: $20.82 - $28.69 per hour + super Receive fee‑free training – Goodstart will cover all related RTO enrolment and training fees. Role: Trainee Educator Centre: Goodstart Prospect Vale As a Trainee Educator at Goodstart, you will be dedicated to giving children the best possible start to their school journey. You will work towards a Certificate III in Early Childhood Education & Care with support from the Centre Leadership Team, Teachers, and Educators. Responsibilities Maintain a safe environment for children, families, and team members. Comply with National Quality Standards (NQS) and Goodstart policies, procedures and requirements. Build and maintain strong, positive relationships with children and families. Actively contribute to the education program in the room and the centre team. Support a culture of reflective practice and ongoing continuous improvement. Contribute to a professional and positive work culture. Qualifications & Eligibility You must not hold a previous Certificate or Diploma qualification completed outside of secondary school in the last 7 years. Applicants who have completed a school‑based certificate other than in childcare will still be eligible. Willingness and motivation to study towards a Certificate III in Early Childhood Education & Care. A permanent right to work in Australia. Strong communication skills. Good time management and organisational skills. Ability to work well individually and as part of a team. Enthusiasm and a positive attitude. Flexible availability. Interest in early years education. Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain one). Proof of immunisation against Measles, Mumps and Rubella and Whooping Cough (or willingness to receive).
