The ORS Speech Pathology team is expanding and we are seeking our next clinician to join us You will join a national team of 60+ Speech Pathologists in our NDIS division providing clinical services to participants aged 0-8. You will work with an amazing group of clients with varying complexity, communication and swallowing needs, over a period of months or even years. You will play an integral part in your client’s personal growth and development, working together to meet their goals. You will form a close bond with your clients and celebrate their achievements together, every step of the way. The type of assessments and interventions you will provide will include: Communication Assessments Swallowing and Paediatric Feeding (Dysphagia) Assessments Mealtime Management Plan development and reviews Augmentative and Alternative Communication Assessments Ongoing therapy You will work across various environments, including family homes, disability group homes, day programs, schools, preschools, community settings, telehealth and ORS offices. You will have access to administration and IT support, high quality and validated Speech Pathology assessment tools, online resource subscriptions, internal and external professional development opportunities, the opportunity for clinical specialisation as well as career progression. That is why we have dedicated Speech Pathology Learning and Development Managers who possess 20+ years clinical Speech Pathology experience, extensive background in university lecturing, and PhD qualifications. You will be able to connect with them in one on one and group training sessions, plus have the ability to email or pick up the phone at any time to ask their advice on complex cases. This resource is in addition to the many Managers and Team Leaders we have on staff Graduate Programs If you have recently graduated, or are within your first 12 months of experience, you will be eligible to participate in ORS’ six month tailored new graduate program. This includes reduced client hours, an allocated supervisor, weekly mentoring, graduate-specific training and opportunities to network with other new graduates and senior practitioners across Australia.
