We are looking for experienced Head Chef and Breakfast Chef Multiple restaurants/cafes in CBD. Monday to Fridays only, no weekend Catering/function experiences preferred. Head Chef As the Head Chef, you will oversee all aspects of our kitchen operations, from menu planning and food preparation to staff management and quality control. Responsibilities Develop and execute a seasonally inspired menu that aligns with the store concept and meets customer expectations Oversee food preparation and ensure that dishes are prepared to the highest standards of taste, presentation, and quality Manage inventory and control costs, ensuring effective stock rotation and minimising wastage Recruit, train, and mentor kitchen staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment Collaborate with the front‑of‑house team to ensure seamless coordination between the kitchen and dining area Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and sanitation regulations Monitor and optimise kitchen operations to enhance efficiency and productivity Maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors, ensuring timely and reliable delivery of ingredients Requirements Proven experience as a Head Chef in a high‑volume Pub, Tavern or Restaurant environment. Culinary degree or equivalent certification in Commercial Cookery Extensive knowledge of various cooking techniques and cuisines Excellent organisational and time‑management abilities Ability to resolve conflict in a constructive manner Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices. Exceptional attention to detail and a passion for delivering exceptional dining experiences Breakfast Chef About the Role Cooking and preparing high quality meals Directing the food preparation process and delegating tasks Assisting the Head Chef in stock ordering to ensure inventory is maintained Assisting the Head Chef to create new menu items, recipes and develop dishes Supervise and provide training to our kitchen staff Ensure communication between the kitchen team is effective Ensure staff are following safe work practices at all times Maintain a high standard of food safety guidelines About You Certificate 1V in Commercial Cookery or equivalent Rotisserie experienced preferred Attention to detail & excellent communication Ability to work effectively and efficiently in a team environment If interested, contact George on *** for confidential discussion. #J-18808-Ljbffr
