Hudson Trade centre Mitre 10Brookvale is on the lookout for a reliable, energetic Yard Hand to join our busyTrade Yard team. This is a full-time, Monday to Friday role that's perfect for someone who enjoys physical work, variety in their day, and helping tradies and builders get what they need - fast You'll be doing everything from picking and packing orders, loading trucks, and keeping the yard in top shape, to delivering top-norch service to our trade customers. Whether you're ready in the trade game or looking to break into it, this is a great opportunity to get your foot in the door with a trusted name in hardware. What you will be doing Rolling up your sleeves for physical work (yes, there's some heavy lifting) Loading and unloading trucks with timber and building materials Keeping stock organised and deliveries accurate Helping tradies in the yard and get their orders sorted quickly and efficiently Picking and packing orders for delivery Replenising stock and keeping the yard clean and safe Working at pace, both solo and with the team Putting safety and customer service front and centre every day What you will bring A current forklift licence is a big plus A strong work ethic and a can-do attitude Great communication skills and a team-first mindset Timber and hardware knowledge is handy but we'll teach you if you're keen to learn Physically fit and ready to be on your feet all day A sharp eye for detail and a sense of urgency Availability across weekdays (and the occasional Saturday morning when required) About Us For over 50 years Mitre 10 has been the local and independent hardware store to thousands of Australians.
