Job Ref : 46785 Print Job Share Job Tweet SQL Developer 6 Months contract + 12 Months extension Large Government Organisation Location : Parramatta, Sydney (hybrid working model – 3 days in office) Rate on offer upto $880 per day (Incl super) Start date : ASAP Opportunity to get Baseline Clearance sponsored by client Candidate must hold Australian Permanent Residency Visa or Citizenship Candidate must provide COVID Vaccination certificate Key Accountabilities Analyse the Data Migration requirements Build SQL ETLs (SQL Scripts, Stored Procedures, Functions and other SQL Coding) Build SSIS Packages Transformation of data and use of Data loading tools (ETL tools) Data Profiling and Cleansing of legacy data Define technical architecture, design, and strategies for migration process Development, deployment, and execution of data migration runs Working with Business and Data Analysts to define business rules for data quality management and migration. Implement and use of Source Code Security tools (GitHub, etc) Complete Technical Detailed Design Documentation (JIRA, Confluence, etc) Role & Responsibilities 10 years+ experience in MS SQL, Oracle, and Informix databases. Extensive hands-on experience in MS SQL Coding and writing SQL ETLs (Stored Procedures, Functions, and other SQL Scripting). Extensive hands-on experience in MS SQL Server Services (SSIS, SSRS, etc). Extensive experience in ETL Tools on SQL Server technologies Strong experience in GitHub, Visual Studio, Visual Code, and other Source Code Security technologies. Strong experience in Data Analysis, ETL, Data Cleansing, Data Profiling and Data Migration techniques. Strong experience in working with large datasets. Experience in Scripting and Automation using PowerShell and T-SQL. Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills. Experience with data migration to MS Dynamics. Experience in Agile Methodologies Experience in Atlassian Tools (JIRA, Confluence, etc) #J-18808-Ljbffr
