$52.50 per hour (including casual loading) 7:00am – 3:00pm | On-going Casual Our client is a fast-growing Melbourne metal fabrication company known for tackling complex, custom projects with precision and creativity. Based in Bayswater, they combine hands‑on craftsmanship with cutting‑edge technology like 3D laser scanning and 3D CAD to deliver high-quality metalwork across a wide range of industries. The Role: Boiler Maker / Metal Fabricator Fabricate, assemble, and install metal components such as handrails, balustrades, and structural steel to precise specifications. Work from 3D CAD models and laser‑scanned data to ensure accurate fit and finish. Operate fabrication machinery, weld, shape, cut, and finish metal components. Conduct on‑site installations across Melbourne. Maintain high standards of quality, safety, and efficiency. Collaborate with the design and fabrication teams to overcome technical challenges. Key Requirements: Proven experience in metal fabrication, welding, and installation (construction industry experience preferred). Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings and CAD models. Proficiency with fabrication tools and machinery. Welding experience (MIG/TIG) essential. Ability to work independently and on‑site across Melbourne. Commitment to safety, accuracy, and quality workmanship. Valid driver’s licence and reliable transport.
