Job Summary People's Food is looking for a Catering Assistant to work in our Melbourne CBD location, offering weekday and daytime shifts only. CBD catering kitchen looking for experienced catering hands/cook/sandwich handlers to work full‑time Monday to Friday to assist with preparation of all meals for corporate clients, ensuring immaculate presentation at all times. Key Responsibilities The successful candidate will have at least one year of similar experience and will pride themselves on keeping service areas clean and tidy, be willing to contribute to waste removal and washing up, and work the day‑time shift of 6 am‑2 pm. Qualifications & Skills Kitchen prep experience Planning and multi‑tasking Self‑motivated with a high energy level Verbal communication Requirements Current food handler’s card Driver’s licence (required) – Advantage if you can drive a van. Food & Beverage Service experience: 1 year (preferred) Ability to commute or relocate to Melbourne, VIC 3000 (preferred) Schedule & Compensation Full‑time, Permanent – 6 am‑2 pm, Monday to Friday, no weekends.
