Overview KCM Cabinets are proud to be one of the largest cabinetry workshops with the South West of Western Australia and we are seeking a motivated individual to join the team. This is a full-time position in a progressive company with a dedicated team at our Bunbury WA workshop. Sponsorship will be duly considered in accordance with applicable regulations and organisational requirements. The successful applicant must be reliable, enthusiastic and highly motivated. Qualifications Certificate III in Cabinet making and Timber Technology (Wood Machining) or equivalent work experience Minimum of 3 year of work experience White card Familiar with industry materials and industry standards Ability to interpret drawings and plans Have excellent attention to detail and accuracy Have excellent organisation and time management skills Ability to work as part of a team as well as independently Responsibilities Assemble cabinetry that has been pre-cut and drill for easy assembly. Assist with operating wood CNC and Edge Banding machinery. Operate a variety of woodworking machinery including planers, band saws, spindle moulders, and CNC or semi-automatic machines to cut, shape, mould, turn, or sand timber components. Assemble timber components using appropriate joining methods for products such as frames, furniture parts, mouldings, and cabinetry. Monitor machine performance during operation and make minor adjustments to maintain accuracy, quality, and smooth workflow. Prepare timber by measuring, marking, and positioning material for accurate machining. Maintain machines and tools by performing regular cleaning, sharpening, lubrication, and basic troubleshooting. Ability to install factory-built cabinetry if required which has been delivered to site by our delivery team. Read and understand working cabinetry plans. Comply with occupational health and safety standards. Timely completion of allocated duties. Maintaining a tidy and organised workspace.
