Solar Roofer/Labourer

As a Solar Roofer with Innovate Energy, you will be responsible for installing high-quality solar systems on residential and commercial rooftops across the Shoalhaven and surrounding areas. This is a casual position with full‑time potential for the right person, based in Nowra, NSW . You will play an important role in helping Innovate Energy deliver reliable, efficient renewable energy solutions to local homes and businesses. What You’ll Be Doing Assess and prepare rooftops and work areas for safe and effective solar installation Install solar panels, mounting hardware, and associated components Assist with inverter installation and support the electrical team as required Ensure all work meets Innovate Energy’s safety, quality, and compliance standards Work collaboratively with the wider installation team to complete projects efficiently and on schedule Collect, transport, and deliver materials and equipment to job sites as required Provide professional customer service and confidently address homeowner questions Maintain a clean, organised, and safe job site Support continuous improvement by contributing ideas to refine installation processes What We’re Looking For Experience as a solar roofer, labourer, or trades assistant (or similar roofing/trades background) Practical understanding of solar panel installation and rooftop work Ability to read and follow installation drawings, plans, and technical instructions Strong attention to detail and a commitment to safe working practices Good problem‑solving ability and a proactive work ethic Clear communication skills and a customer‑focused mindset Physically capable of performing manual labour and working at heights Relevant trade or working‑at‑heights certifications highly regarded What We Offer At Innovate Energy , we prioritise the growth, wellbeing, and long‑term success of our team.
