Expressions of Interest | DC Senior Team Leader Reporting to : Jack Ross, Warehouse Manager Location : BV Distribution Centre Site Status : 6 month fixed-term contract The Role An exciting leadership opportunity has become available in our Distribution Centre on Day Shift. Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, you will be responsible for providing an engaging and constructive work environment through guidance, instruction and direction of staff on their shift while ensuring strong collaboration across shifts to maintain continuity and efficiency. Key responsibilities include : Foster effective cross-shift collaboration to ensure seamless handovers, consistent communication, and alignment on priorities. Assign work tasks to the shift, ensuring clear delegation and efficient workflow. Rostering of team and scheduling of external services. Ensure employees are working within all appropriate supply chain standards expected for the department, while promoting good housekeeping practices. Promote, and contribute to the continuous improvement of current processes, and organisational initiatives. Show a commitment to coaching and developing team members, by providing guidance, support and opportunities for growth. Actively contribute to fostering a department culture aligned with company values, while promoting high morale and positive attitudes. In consultation with HR and relevant Managers undertake disciplinary investigations, and implement appropriate disciplinary procedures as required. Monitor system / software information relating to forklift movements, performance objectives, and waste management. The successful applicant will have the following skills and experience : A current Forklift Licence Awareness and ownership of personal accountability for Health and Safety in the workplace. Capability to communicate with different levels of stakeholders, internal and external. Ability to promote a constructive culture, by encouraging positive relationships, open communication, and collaboration. A drive to foster and encourage team engagement and recognition. Moderate Digital literacy, with experience of Microsoft Office.
