Chief Executive Officer, Workplace Gender Equality Agency The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) position offers a unique leadership opportunity to drive gender equality in Australian workplaces, overseeing a statutory agency that manages a world‑leading dataset and regulatory functions under the Workplace Gender Equality Act. The CEO will collaborate with government, employers, and stakeholders to advance legislative reforms, deliver data‑driven insights, and promote cultural change, while ensuring strong governance and financial management. The ideal candidate will be an inspiring senior leader with a proven record of achievement, exceptional communication and stakeholder engagement skills, and a deep understanding of gender equality challenges. The role requires a commitment to integrity, cultural competency, and high professional standards. Security and Background Requirements Successful applicants will be required to obtain and maintain the required baseline security clearance level for the role, which requires Australian citizenship and meeting the Australian Government Security Vetting Agency criteria. Applicants must also successfully pass a National Criminal History check.
