What you’ll do As a Senior Hydraulic Engineer you will be part of a wider network of professional engineers working on both local and national projects. Specific activities will include, but are not limited to: Provide hydraulic services design & analysis on projects, design basis, scope of works specifications in accordance with industry standards on a variety of mid to top tier multi-disciplinary building projects Participate in design reviews, risk assessments, bid evaluations, construction support activities including RFI’s, submittal reviews, site visits and design revisions/change Undertake design, construction, and investigative reporting, implementing National Standards, Codes of Practice, and industry requirement of engineering practices Deliver best practice and outcomes for clients, saving on costs and time Provide project coordination and management when needed Communicate effectively with all external and internal stakeholders and project teams Build solid client relationships and representing the business with the local and regional markets About you Hold a recognized Tertiary Engineering Qualification or other relevant qualification Proven local experience in providing technical hydraulic services design & analysis on projects across a number of sectors Proven project experience in building services consulting across a range of sectors Ensure registration (or eligibility for registration) in the professional engineer register of the relevant state for the building/construction industry.
