Role Details Workshop Boilermaker Job no: Work type: Full time Location: Mackay & Coalfields Categories: Boilermakers Responsibilities Heavy fabrication of structural steel and plate work MIG / Flux Core welding (TIG/Stick advantageous) Reading and interpreting engineering & fabrication drawings Assembly and welding of large components Use of overhead cranes, forklifts, and workshop equipment Cutting, gouging, and preparation of materials Maintaining high safety and quality standards Qualifications and Attributes Relevant Trade Qualification Current driver’s licence (preferred) High-risk tickets an advantage (forklift, crane, dogging) Must be able to weld to AS2980 standards Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship Ability to work independently and as part of a team A strong focus on safety and quality Problem solving and decision-making skills Great communication and interpersonal skills Why work with us?
