Yard Person – Onsite Rental Group Location: Thornton NSWJob Type: Permanent – Full Time Job Description Reporting to the Team Leader, your role will be to: Clean portable buildings and portable toilet blocks using supplied equipment and materials Complete basic repair and maintenance tasks on portable buildings, including toilet blocks; repair and seal flooring, replace trim, paint and patch walls, basic plumbing, replace doors & locks, etc. Securely pack furniture and accessories in portable buildings for transport, such as tables, chairs, desks, fridges, microwaves, etc. Undertake general housekeeping and yard duties to ensure a safe, clean, and well‑organised work environment Assist qualified trades with portable building refurbishments and upgrades where necessary Desired Skills and Experience Current driver’s licence and reliable transport Forklift licence Handyman experience, including use of power tools (desirable) Relevant cleaning or labouring experience Ability to work both autonomously and within a team Positive attitude & high regard for workplace safety Benefits Competitive base wage + Profit Share Plan inclusion Free on‑site parking & open warehouse environment Full‑time permanent position providing stable long‑term employment Family‑friendly roster, Monday – Friday, core hours 7:00 am – 3:06 pm Dedicated employee benefits to support physical, mental and financial wellbeing (Employee Assistance Program, Salary Continuance Insurance, TAL – Health for Life Program, discounted private health insurance, Reward & Recognition Program) Onsite is committed to achieving a diverse and socially inclusive workforce.
