Opportunities like this do not come around every day Join a friendly, community-focused club overlooking beautiful Lake Macquarie Valentine Bowling Club is seeking an enthusiastic and organised Bowls Coordinator to support and grow our bowls programs, nurture member engagement and help deliver an exceptional sporting and social experience for our community. About the Role As the Bowls Coordinator, you’ll be the driving force behind our bowls operations. You will work closely with members, volunteers, committees and club management to ensure the smooth running of all bowls activities - both social and competitive. This is a permanent‑part‑time role of 30 hours per week. Key Responsibilities Coordinate and manage weekly social and competitive bowls events Oversee draw preparation, nominations and event scheduling Assist with Pennants, Championships and special tournaments Promote bowls participation among members, visitors and local groups Maintain and set up greens in collaboration with greenkeeping staff Provide friendly, professional communication to bowlers and visitors Support member development programs and new bowler initiatives Liaise with the Bowls Committee and club management on planning and improvements About You Passionate about the sport of bowls and community engagement Highly organised with strong communication and people skills Confident working with members of all ages and abilities Comfortable with basic computer tasks (scheduling, scoring systems, email) Able to work flexible hours, including weekends Experience in lawn bowls coordination or coach is highly desirable What We Offer A supportive, welcoming team environment Competitive remuneration A role where you can help shape the future of bowls at a growing club #J-18808-Ljbffr
