Overview As a passionate, self‑motivated educator, you will support the City of Canterbury Bankstown’s Children’s Centres by delivering high‑quality early childhood education and care. The role focuses on creating a safe, inclusive, and engaging environment for children to learn and grow, building positive relationships with families and maintaining a strong child‑safeguarding culture. Responsibilities Ensure compliance with the Early Education and Care National Law and Regulations, including the National Quality Standards, at all times. Assist in the implementation of an innovative and reflective early childhood education program that aligns with the principles, practices, and outcomes of the National Early Years Learning Framework. Contribute to a collaborative team through shared learning, a positive attitude, and sound communication skills. Foster positive relationships with children, families, colleagues, and professionals, while working together to create a tailored curriculum that reflects each child’s strengths, needs, and interests. Observe and document children’s learning and development using a variety of methods. Qualifications Diploma in Early Childhood Education. Working with Children Check. Identify and Respond to Children and Young People at Risk of Significant Harm. Current Senior First Aid Certificate including Asthma and Anaphylaxis. Experience in providing quality learning experiences and environments for young children. Knowledge and understanding of child development and learning. Knowledge and experience in implementing the National Early Years Learning Framework. Salary & Benefits The salary range for this opportunity starts at $39.46 per hour (Grade D, Step 1) + 12% superannuation. Salary may be negotiable depending on skills and experience.
