Company Overview Company : YK Technology (pre-incorporation) is the company behind XD Platform. It is in the process of incorporating and currently building the MVP. Business / Product XD Platform & XDGSS. We are building XD Platform — a next-generation digital game distribution platform, similar to Steam or Epic Games Store, but with a unique innovation : the built-in XD Game Sensitivity System (XDGSS). XDGSS is a proprietary technology solely and independently developed by the founder. It significantly improves player experience and performance through optimized control comfort, camera smoothness, aiming precision, and cross-game consistency. Our Mission To revolutionize how players experience games — just like Apple transformed how people experience electronic products. Stage Pre-seed startup, founder-led, currently developing the MVP. The Role We are looking for a Founding Software Engineer to join as one of the very first hires. You will work directly with the founder to build the foundation of XD Platform, starting with the website and expanding into a full client platform. Responsibilities Build and iterate on the XD Platform website as the foundation for our future client platform. Develop and integrate the XDGSS algorithm module into the website. Work across the stack (frontend + backend) and collaborate closely with the founding team. Expand into cross-platform client development (e.g. Electron, C++ / C#) as the product grows. Contribute to technical architecture, product direction, and early-stage decision-making. Requirements Strong full-stack web development skills (React / Node.js / databases). Ability to take ownership and deliver 0?1 product features independently. Strong problem-solving mindset and high coding standards. Excited about gaming and eager to explore game-related technologies. Comfortable working in a fast-paced, early-stage startup environment. A passion for gaming and interest in the industry is a big plus. Compensation & Equity Pre-funding : Equity-based only (no cash salary until investment is secured). Post-funding Competitive salary (around USD $ K / year) + continued equity. Equity : 5% (full-time) or 2.5% (part-time) original equity with the following vesting structure. Founding Engineer Equity Vesting Framework (Hybrid Model) Equity will vest based on both milestone achievements and continuous contribution : 0.5% (Full-time) / 0.25% (Part-time) — upon completion of the MVP core feature development and initial test release. 0.5% (Full-time) / 0.25% (Part-time) — after 12 months of continuous contribution. 1.0% (Full-time) / 0.5% (Part-time) — for each additional 12 months of continuous contribution thereafter. Additional terms : Total vesting cap : 5% (Full-time) or 2.5% (Part-time). Expected Contribution Full-time = hours / week Part-time = hours / week 4-year vesting with 1-year cliff. Unvested equity will lapse if participation stops or contribution falls below the expected level for more than two months without prior agreement. Work Arrangement Location : Sydney-based (on-site / hybrid), meeting at least once a week in person. Time commitment : Prefer full-time, but flexible arrangements are possible for the right candidate. Team You will be one of the core founding engineers, shaping both the product and the company.
