THE ROLE As the Procurement Advisor you will be responsible for providing procurement advice and support to ensure procurement is run in an efficient and compliant manner. The position is required to support critical procurement activities to drive value for money outcomes for whole of government whilst maintaining compliance with relevant legislative and policy obligations. This is a fixed term 12 months parental leave cover within the delivery team supporting housing projects at every stage. Establish and maintain tendering, purchasing and contract development and management processes and systems that are rigorous, transparent and have credibility with all stakeholders. Assist with the development of procurement documentation including but not limited to specifications, statements of requirements, tender or submission documents, selection and approval reports. Skills & Experience Demonstrated experience providing procurement advice in a government setting. Procurement knowledge and demonstrated understanding of the framework of the Victorian Government Purchasing Board Guidelines, Financial Management Act, and key procurement requirements.
