Expression of Interest - Animal Attendant (Dog Daycare) Kip Alexandria, Kip Marrickville, Kip Newtown Animal Attendant (Dog Daycare) As the leading provider of pet care services across Australia, Kip Happy Stays sets the benchmark for excellence, ensuring every pet receives the ultimate in care and enrichment during their stay. Atour Sydney daycares, our team is deeply committed to delivering exceptional care to every furry friend that walks through it's doors. We’re looking for people who are ready to bring energy, commitment, and a love of animals to our team. We’ll review EOIs on an ongoing basis; shortlisted candidates will be invited to complete a video interview and from there, we'll be in touch as vacancies arise at our Sydney locations to discuss next steps. The ideal candidate will be available to work flexible hours between 6.30am-6.30pm, Monday through Friday, with the ability to adapt to a variety of shifts and schedules. Availability to work mid-week (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday) is preferred. What are the responsibilities of the role? Supervising groups of dogs and managing their behaviours to maintain overall wellbeing and safety Providing canine enrichment through play and scheduled activities Implementing daily leadership and training activities Frequent cleaning and upkeep of facility Building and maintaining rapport with our dog owners through daily feedback and transparency Creating and distributing media content for our dog owners through videos and photos Daily administration such as answering enquiries through email and phone, record keeping of dog behaviours, preparing documents for dog owners What are the minimum requirements? Available to attend a lawful unpaid work trial shift (operated within The Fair Work Ombudsman guidelines) Confident to physically handle larger dog breeds High level of communication and empathetic in nature Able to work long days, on your feet, in a high pressure environment A passion for, strong desire to learn, or aspiration to continue your development with canine behaviour and training Comfortable with computer systems (emails, booking platform) and phone applications (using social media, filming and editing basic video content) Why Kip Happy Stays?
