Management Accountant

We’re looking for a dynamic, commercially minded Management Accountant to join our rapidly growing e-commerce business. If you thrive in a fast-paced, data-driven environment and enjoy turning financial insights into practical business strategies, this role is for you. You’ll collaborate closely with the client and work with teams across finance, operations, marketing, and logistics located in Europe, Canada, and the Philippines. This is an exciting opportunity to influence performance and profitability across a global operation. You’ll be part of a supportive team and report directly to an Australian-based CFO who will guide and mentor you as you grow. Responsibilities Deliver monthly management accounts with clear insights and recommendations. Analyse financial performance across multiple sales channels. Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and scenario modelling to support growth. Monitor inventory, COGS, and logistics costs to ensure accurate margin reporting. Support cash flow management, working capital optimisation, and payment cycles. Work with cross‑functional teams to identify cost savings and improve efficiency. Assist with year‑end processes and tax compliance. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field. Professional accounting qualification (CIMA, ACCA, CPA) is desirable. 3+ years’ experience in management accounting or commercial finance. Experience in e-commerce or retail strongly preferred. Knowledge of online sales metrics and digital platforms. Proficient in Excel, financial modelling, and accounting software such as Xero. Experience in Australian markets preferred; US/EU markets favourable. Familiarity with tools such as Shopify, Amazon Seller Central, Klaviyo or Google Analytics. Key Competencies Highly analytical with a commercial mindset. Ability to simplify complex data for non-finance stakeholders. Comfortable working cross‑functionally in a fast-paced, scaling business.
