Position Overview Melbourne’s South‑West. Permanent EFT + Long Service Leave Cover (flexible/negotiable). We’re seeking an experienced Consultant Psychiatrist to provide leadership and clinical expertise in our 54‑bed adult acute psychiatric inpatient unit at the Clare Moore Building. You’ll be joining a dynamic team of six consultant psychiatrists , an expanding JMO workforce, and a robust registrar training programme , making this role both rewarding and well supported. MMH&WS delivers public mental health services to one of Australia’s most diverse and fastest‑growing populations. Our commitment to patient‑centred care and recovery‑oriented practice means you’ll be at the forefront of delivering meaningful outcomes for our patients and communities. Responsibilities Provide leadership and clinical expertise within the inpatient unit, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and contributing to service innovation.
