Department of Biodiversity Conservation and Attractions WA – Broome WA The Kimberley Region is a remote and complex landscape which is renowned for its natural beauty and cultural significance. We are currently seeking a Senior Ranger to join our team and play a key role in protecting one of Western Australia's most iconic landscapes. As a Senior Ranger, you'll lead park operations, coordinate conservation programs, and support cultural heritage management in collaboration with Bunuba Traditional Owners. This role involves supervising staff, maintaining visitor facilities, delivering interpretive programs, and ensuring compliance with environmental and safety standards. Under the direction of the Operations Manager, the Senior Ranger is: Responsible for works programs and day to day operations within the West Kimberley District National Parks, with a particular focus on Bunuba Parks including Miluwindi Conservation Park; Bandilngan (Windjana Gorge) National Park; Balili (Devonian Reef) Conservation Park; and Dimalurru (Tunnel Creek) National Park. Subsidised Electricity for eight months calculated on 1800 kWh per month. Generous personal leave entitlements. Annual Travel Concession for you and your dependants after 12 months of service – the value is calculated quarterly and relates to the price of a fully flex return flight from Broome (example: $6,900 for a couple and one child at July 2025 rate).
