TRUCK DRIVER

Blue Sky Nursery is a busy wholesale nursery supplying both the landscape and retail markets based in North Arm on the Sunshine Coast. Both positions will be based on the Sunshine Coast at North Arm. Nursery Sales Assistant Full time, 38‑hour week with a 3‑month probationary period. Hours are Monday 6:30‑12:40, Tuesday to Friday 6:30‑15:10. The role requires excellent plant knowledge, customer service experience and strong phone skills. A working knowledge of MYOB, Excel and Word is essential. Previous nursery experience or horticultural certification is required. Customer service, processing stock enquiries, quotations, sales and orders in MYOB Good knowledge of general nursery plant species grown within the industry Sourcing plants for projects and grow‑outs Participation at trade events and exhibitions Ability to work as part of a dynamic team or individually Ability to follow direction Ability to multi‑task and work under pressure when required Ability to work to deadlines Liaising with Sales/Logistics Manager, Dispatch staff, Truck Drivers & Production staff Wages will be negotiated with the successful applicant depending on qualifications and/or experience. Truck Driver Full time, 38‑hour week. The successful candidate must provide a TMR traffic record for the last five years. Experience within the nursery industry or horticultural knowledge is an advantage. A HR licence is required. Previous experience within the nursery industry or horticultural knowledge would be an advantage. Majority of deliveries are within the SE corner of Queensland.
