Visit The Welcome Experience | NSW Government What You'll Be Doing The Midwife Educator provides leadership and coordination of nursing and midwifery education and training programs across SNSWLHD. The role is responsible for the development, coordination and delivery of nursing and midwifery education and orientation programs. Selection Criteria Current Registration with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a Registered Midwife. Recent experience in clinical practice with a post graduate qualification in health education or relevant field or equivalent work experience or a combination of study and work experience. Demonstrated effective leadership skills including highly developed skills in communication, problem solving, conflict resolution and negotiation. Demonstrated ability to develop, coordinate, deliver and evaluate education and training programs. Demonstrated understanding of contemporary adult learning principles and flexible delivery modes for learning. High level written and verbal communication skills, with ability to conduct professional-level presentations for educational purposes. Computer literacy and understanding of relevant health information systems. Evidence of a current unrestricted driver's license and the ability to maintain. Ability and willingness to drive/travel as the role requires. This may involve driving long distances and overnight stay.
