OSHC Educator – Casual Join the City of Canterbury Bankstown as an OSHC Educator. This casual position is located at Clemton Park Outside of School Hours Care. About the City The City of Canterbury Bankstown is one of the largest councils in NSW, serving a culturally, socially and economically diverse community of over 380,000 residents. We deliver 28 key services including childcare, parks, libraries and community facilities. Responsibilities Provide attentive supervision and care for primary‑school aged children before, after and during school hours. Facilitate engaging play and educational activities that promote child development. Foster positive relationships with children and families, ensuring open communication. Ensure compliance with safety and organisational policies and procedures. Promote inclusivity, respect and empowerment within the environment. Contribute to a child‑safe organisation committed to the wellbeing of every child. Qualifications & Experience Working with Children Check. Current Senior First Aid Certificate including Asthma, Anaphylaxis and CPR. Experience providing quality learning environments for young people. Ability to communicate positively and build trusting relationships with children, families and colleagues. Commitment to professional learning and development. Availability for before, after and vacation care hours. Remuneration Salary starts at $36.47 per hour (Grade C, Step 1) + 12% super . Salary may be negotiable based on skills and experience.
