Overview We are seeking a talented individual to join our Workers Compensation team at Mercer Marsh Benefits. This role will be based in our Perth office. This is a hybrid role that requires working at least three days in the office. Responsibilities Perform outsourced Return to Work Coordinator functions, managing the return-to-work process for injured workers, including triaging and lodging new claims promptly. Develop and maintain comprehensive return to work plans tailored to the needs of injured workers, ensuring compliance with employer obligations and best practices. Liaise with key stakeholders, including injured workers, employers, and insurers, to provide updates, gather information, and address concerns throughout the return-to-work process. Conduct thorough reviews of claims to assess progress and recommend actions to facilitate recovery and return-to-work. Administer injury management software, generate reports, and maintain accurate documentation to support effective injury management practices. Qualifications Tertiary qualifications in allied health. Experience in claims management functions at an insurer or employer. Strong organisational and time management skills, with a focus on accuracy and thoroughness. Excellent written and verbal communication abilities. Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel. What makes you stand out Return to Work Coordinator accreditation (desirable but not essential). Experience with claims management and injury management systems. Proactive approach to identifying opportunities and managing tasks independently. Strong decision-making skills and the ability to evaluate options effectively. Willingness to take on additional responsibilities and support the Workers Compensation team during busy periods.
