Tell me about this role: We are seeking an ICT Cyber Security Advisor to provide a broad range of advisory services covering security strategy and accreditation. The successful candidate will possess a technical background to lead technical security assessment and review tasks. What will I be doing day to day? Lead security certification and accreditation activities, advisory engagements and provide cyber security risk assessments Provide support and advice to the Chief Engineer, Project Engineering Managers and Program Engineering leads on relevant SoS security matters Ensure ICT systems are designed, developed, operated and maintained in accordance with the ISM, DSPF and the ACSI Reviewing and providing advice on Defence security documentation for ICT systems Build relationships with key decision makers to identify areas for security improvements What sort of skills do I need? Degree qualifications and experience in Information Technology, Cyber Security or related qualification Demonstrated experience in a Defence DDG or CASG environment Technical knowledge of Defence IT Security principles Experience working with DevSecOps and Agile delivery methodologies would be highly regarded High level attention to detail Ability to build and maintain relationships with a wide variety of stakeholders Be an Australian citizen and an NV1 security clearance as a minimum What’s in it for me?
