We have three exciting roles available based in Rockhampton , with opportunities to travel across the region and engage in occasional FIFO work to the Torres Strait and remote communities. These are not just jobs — they are purpose-driven positions embedded in cultural safety, story, and community healing. We are especially seeking: First Nations psychologists who want to be part of a 100% Indigenous-led mental health service, or Non-Indigenous psychologists with deep, demonstrated experience working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people and a genuine commitment to relational, decolonising practice. AHPRA provisional or registered Psychologists Bachelor of Psychology graduates willing to undertake further study Occupational Therapists (with or willing to undertake Better Access Endorsement), AASW registered Social Workers (with or willing to undertake Mental Health Endorsement) and/or ACA registered Counsellors (minimum Diploma qualification and willing to undertake further study). As a multi-disciplined service provider WWH prioritises staff professional supervision by having internal AHPRA Board approved supervisors and facilitating an ongoing workforce development program. The successful applicants will undertake the following duties: Provide therapy services to a variety of referral types and programs. Deliver group based and individual therapeutic counselling and healing services for male and female consumers aged between 5-75. Deliver in office and outreach therapeutic services, via in person face to face and telehealth modes as appropriate. Undertake best practice assessment, care planning, care reviews, report writing and the delivery of therapeutic services. Work within a team and in collaboration with other services and community members, to enhance the delivery of culturally appropriate, safe, and responsive therapeutic services. Employ professional knowledge while considering ethical legal and professional matters. Participate in quality assurance activities towards ensuring a high standard of services. Undertake and demonstrate the highest standards in communication and interpersonal relationships. Undertake practice of the profession working with people from diverse groups and across the life span. Within a supervised and supported team environment manage a case load of referred consumers. Work within a team, develop links and collaborate in partnership with a range of stakeholders. Current AHPRA, AASW or ACA registration (or able to obtain) Applicants with Bachelor of Psychological Science only will not need registration. Must be willing to complete relevant pre‑employment screening, including Criminal History, Blue Card, and Queensland Disability Worker Screening/NDIS Worker Screening (or eligibility/pending approvals); and Hold a current driver’s licence.
