AEM Architect – 4–6 Month Contract (Sydney) New Project | AEMaaCS | Enterprise Environment Our client is commencing a major new digital initiative and is seeking an experienced AEM Architect to lead solution design, integration strategy and technical oversight across Adobe Experience Manager as a Cloud Service (AEMaaCS). This is a 4–6 month contract based in Sydney , ideal for a senior professional with deep AEM architecture capability and proven delivery experience in complex enterprise environments. Key Responsibilities Lead architectural design and end-to-end solution planning for AEMaaCS. Define component architecture, integration patterns, security models and performance considerations. Oversee development of custom AEM templates, components, workflows and services . Provide architectural governance across multiple teams, ensuring alignment to standards and best practices. Drive integration across Adobe Experience Cloud, CRM platforms, search technologies and identity providers (SAML). Advise on content architecture, MSM strategy, headless implementation options and digital asset management. Support deployment patterns, branching strategies, version control and CI/CD alignment. Partner with business stakeholders, senior engineers and product owners within an Agile delivery model. Troubleshoot complex architectural and platform-level issues and guide technical resolutions. Skills & Experience 15+ years' experience in Adobe Experience Manager including AEMaaCS. Strong understanding of EDS offering, Blocks and Permission setup. Deep expertise across Adobe Core Components Services, ACLs, and User Management. Architectural-level knowledge of JEE and OSGi stacks. Extensive integration experience with SAML, CRM systems, search platforms, and other Adobe Experience Cloud products. Strong understanding of AEM MSM, Content / Experience Fragments, Assets, and Dynamic Media. Experience designing or leading AEM headless implementations (highly desirable). Hands‑on experience overseeing installations, deployments, version control, branching and code management. Excellent communication, analytical and problem-solving skills. Demonstrated experience working within Agile environments. Duration 4–6 months Location Sydney Project New program of work with immediate onboarding arrangements available.
