About you and this role Dow has an exciting and challenging opportunity for a Maintenance Technician role located at the Geelong Site, Australia. This role provides maintenance craft‑specific support to plants, maintaining and repairing all types of equipment with craft knowledge and expertise. It requires broadened technical skills in analytical/scientific methods or operational processes to perform a defined array of activities and may act as an informal resource for team members with less experience. Responsibilities Diagnoses and corrects equipment problems. Calibrates and aligns equipment. Completes preventative maintenance activities. Checks sizing of components and parts. Specifies requisitions and installs parts and equipment. Coordinates maintenance spare parts with MRO coordinator. Assists in planning, prioritizing and scheduling maintenance through Gatekeeper and Activity Coordinator and operations input. Sets up and calibrates tests, measures and repairs all types of controls and instruments with pneumatic, electrical and electronic variables. Repairs, maintains and installs equipment and machinery used in the process. Works within established Maintenance Work Processes and helps resolve issues that surface as a result of planning and scheduling work.
