Apply now to be part of our team. $76,000 – $80,000 per year + super | Full-time (38 Hours a week) 15 Golf Drive, Shepparton VIC 3630, Australia Requirements for this role Flexible hours available 2-3 years of relevant work experience required for this role About the Role As Sous Chef, you will play a key leadership role in our kitchen—supporting the Head Chef in day-to-day operations, ensuring consistently high-quality food preparation, and contributing to menu development. You will help oversee kitchen staff, maintain a clean and efficient workspace, and uphold excellent food safety standards. Key Responsibilities Assist the Head Chef with all aspects of kitchen management Lead and supervise kitchen staff during service Prepare and cook dishes to a high standard across all dining areas Contribute to menu planning, specials, and seasonal offerings Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations Maintain stock levels, assist with ordering, and minimise wastage Help oversee catering for functions, events, and golf club activities About You We’re looking for someone who brings creativity, professionalism, and a positive attitude to the kitchen. The ideal candidate will have: Minimum 2 years previous experience as a Sous Chef or similar role A passion for fresh, high-quality food Strong leadership and communication skills Ability to perform well under pressure Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail A commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and food safety Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and event days as required Qualification in Commercial Cookery (Cert III/IV or equivalent) essential Why Join Us?
