Systems Administrator – Queensland Government Join to apply for the Systems Administrator role at Queensland Government. As a Systems Administrator, you will provide tier 2‑3 support for core infrastructure technology within the department, collaborating closely with infrastructure, network, security, and service desk teams to scope, configure, test, deploy, and maintain DOJ core IT infrastructure. Key Responsibilities Monitor and analyze performance of client infrastructure and EUC environments, recommending improvements. Provide feedback to clients, Service Management, and Application Management teams to ensure agreed service levels are achieved. Develop, configure, and implement new initiatives and solutions in a large ICT environment. Undertake change management activities for infrastructure provisioning. Provide level 2 and 3 support and maintenance of the Departmental IT infrastructure. Engage with clients, multi-disciplinary technology groups, and external stakeholders on enterprise infrastructure matters. Research and advise on continuous improvement and evaluation of emerging technologies. Maintain knowledge of industry trends, technology directions, and product road maps. Technical Skills, Abilities & Cultural Capability Experience managing virtualization platforms, specifically Nutanix HCI. Experience in an ITIL‑based environment and ServiceNow. Proficiency with Microsoft technologies: Active Directory, Azure AD/Entra ID, DHCP, DNS, Windows Server 2012 R2+, AD FS, Endpoint Manager (Intune/Autopilot), SCCM, Microsoft 365, Azure, RDS/Windows365, Teams, Office, PowerShell, Defender for Endpoint, Defender for Microsoft 365. Experience building and maintaining end‑user device management in enterprise environments. Performs other essential duties as required. Application Details Applications remain current for 12 months.
