St Clare's Primary School is seeking a visual arts teacher who is vibrant, dynamic and can inspire children to explore and enjoy a variety of learning areas as part of our specialist team. Commencement is for the 2026 school year. Experienced or graduate teachers are welcome to apply for this highly supported teaching position. The successful applicant will need : strong knowledge of visual arts ability to plan and implement engaging programs using knowledge of contemporary learning and teaching practices knowledge of, and demonstrated ability to, differentiate learning to meet the needs of students across a range of abilities awareness of the skills and strategies required when working with students from diverse cultural backgrounds passion for building strong partnerships and links between our families and school ability to work collaboratively with the specialist teacher team to support and contribute to the building of a professional learning culture willingness to be involved in all aspects of the school community evidence of ongoing personal and professional development strong commitment to Catholic education and Catholic identity accreditation to teach in a Catholic School (or a willingness to obtain future accreditation) knowledge of the AITSL Australian Professional Standards for Teachers adherence to St Clare's Child Safety Policy and Code of Conduct and other policies relevant to Ministerial Order 1359 current registration with the Victorian Institute of Teaching with an up to date Criminal Record check Application Procedure Applications should include: a cover letter outlining your suitability for the position; curriculum vitae (CV) a completed Application for Employment Form (see attachment); contact details for 3 current referees Applications should be emailed to the Principal, Mr Ben Fahey, by Friday 21st November, 2025.
