Area Manager – Fast Food / Hospitality (Collins Square, Southern Cross, Southbank & QV) Location: Docklands, VIC – Old Man Pho is expanding and we’re looking for an experienced Area Manager to oversee operations across four busy CBD locations: Collins Square, Southern Cross, Southbank, and QV. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in high‑volume environments, can lead multiple teams, and has strong operational expertise. Salary Range: $65,000 – $75,000 + Super (aligned with Fast Food Industry Award for supervisory/managerial roles, depending on experience) Hours & Structure: Monday–Friday, 9am–5pm Some weekend work required (store checks, audits, or support when needed) Full‑time role supporting all four city locations Key Responsibilities: Oversee daily operations across all assigned stores Support and supervise Store Managers and Front‑of‑House teams Ensure food quality, presentation, and consistency meet brand standards Conduct store audits, compliance checks, and training Manage rostering quality, labour efficiency, and service performance Work closely with Head Office on promotions, reporting, and improvements Assist with recruitment, onboarding, and performance management Help solve operational issues quickly and effectively Maintain strong relationships with franchisees, centre management, and team members What We’re Looking For: Minimum 4 years of relevant work experience (including multi‑site management) Previous multi‑site management experience in fast food or hospitality (essential) Strong leadership, communication, and problem‑solving skills Ability to manage operations across multiple locations with confidence High level of organisation and accountability Hands‑on mindset – active store involvement, not just supervision Understanding of food safety, compliance, and labour management Driver’s licence preferred but not essential (all venues are accessible by transport) Why Work With Us?
