About the role Our client is looking for a Logistics Analyst who can bring sharp analysis, reliable month-end support and a strong understanding of logistics cost drivers. You’ll work closely with Finance and Supply Chain teams to keep reporting accurate, highlight trends and help improve cost visibility across each SBU. Key responsibilities Month-end and cost analysis Take the lead on logistics month-end tasks, making sure reporting is accurate and on time. Analyse freight, warehousing and broader logistics costs by SBU. Complete variance reviews against forecast and explain key movements to Finance. Manage accruals and keep everything aligned with accounting requirements. Support budgeting and forecasting alongside Finance and Supply Chain. Data analysis and reporting Build and maintain dashboards and KPIs that track logistics performance by SBU. Turn cost data into practical insights that help reduce spend and lift service levels. Operational coordination Review 3PL KPIs and keep an eye on carrier freight rates. Work with logistics partners to keep service levels on track. Process improvement Provide analysis that supports continuous improvement projects across the function. Vendor and cost management Review supplier invoices and check that charges match agreed terms. Qualifications & Skills Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or related field. 5-8 years of experience in logistics or supply chain analysis (preferably in ANZ region). Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; proficiency in Excel and SAP. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Nature of contract It is initially a 3-month contract with the opportunity to extend beyond this or made permanent.
