Do you love cooking and meal preparation? Have you considered using your skills within a childcare environment? We have Cook roles available now across Sydney and surrounding suburbs. A huge benefit of working as a cook / chef, within the childcare industry is no weekend work or late night shifts. You will need to be confident working alone and in preparing up to 3 meals per day for a large number of children. In addition to cooking, your knowledge may be required in aspects of menu planning and nutrition guidance. About you Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or equivalent (highly desirable). Experience cooking in childcare, aged care or hospitals will be well regarded. Allergen aware as well as commitment to meet dietary, cultural and nutritional needs of children. Available a minimum of 2 shifts per week. Willingness to travel to different locations around your area. Australian work rights and a willingness to gain your state based Working with Children Card. Possession of a First Aid certificate is highly regarded by some of our clients. Committed to Child Safeguarding and understanding of Mandatory Reporting responsibilities. Able to provide contact details of two professional referees who have managed you and can speak to your work.
