Are you an experienced project leader with a passion for climate reporting, regulatory compliance and enterprise-wide transformation? This is a rare opportunity to step into a high‑impact Senior Project Manager role driving one of Australia’s most significant Climate‑Related Financial Disclosure programs. A leading Australian financial organisation is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead its enterprise‑wide Climate Reporting program, ensuring compliance with new AASB 2 requirements. This is a senior, visible role partnering closely with the CFO, CRO, COO, Responsible Investments, Corporate Sustainability and Group Risk to establish the processes, systems and governance needed for high‑quality climate disclosures. You’ll join a highly regarded Delivery Practice responsible for providing expertise, frameworks and methodologies to support the organisation’s regulatory and strategic agenda. Key Responsibilities Project Delivery & Execution Build and manage detailed project schedules, plans and governance frameworks Lead cost optimisation, budgeting and benefits tracking Drive cross‑functional stakeholder management and communication Manage risks, issues, change control and reporting Ensure strong change management and hypercare support Maintain consistent project assurance and controls Climate & Regulatory Program Leadership Lead the Climate Reporting program across the business Establish enterprise‑wide processes, systems and governance for AASB 2 compliance Provide insights and frameworks to support audit‑ready climate reporting Risk Management Identify, analyse and escalate risks aligned to the organisation’s Risk Management Framework Develop mitigation plans and communicate risk impacts to senior stakeholders Drive effective issue resolution and decision‑making About You Significant experience leading complex regulatory or compliance projects Exposure to ESG and climate reporting highly desirable A strong finance background or experience in audit‑grade reporting Exceptional stakeholder management with senior executives Strong communication, problem‑solving and critical thinking skills Proficiency in project tools: MS Project, Excel, Confluence, JIRA, Miro A proactive, independent delivery style with strong organisational skills Ability to operate with courage, accountability and a continuous improvement mindset Seniority level Mid‑Senior level Employment type Full‑time Job function Project Management and Information Technology Industries Staffing and Recruiting Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples are encouraged to apply.
