Embedded Linux Field Engineer

Overview Embedded Linux Field Engineer (Mandarin speaking) at Canonical. The role is remote within the APAC region, with travel up to 30% for customer meetings, company events, and conferences. Fluency in Mandarin is required, with professional English also expected. Responsibilities Engage customers during presales to gather requirements and explain our technology Elaborate solutions to be proposed to prospective clients Participate in the delivery of select projects related to Embedded Linux Convey market requirements to key stakeholders and help develop or refine generic solutions to unlock market potential Be a customer advocate and trusted advisor to Canonical What we are looking for in you Fluent in Mandarin and willing to travel to China regularly Bachelor s degree in Computer Science or related technical field Extensive Linux experience — Debian or Ubuntu preferred Distribution / Packaging experience (deb, rpm, ...) Solid embedded Linux experience (Yocto, Buildroot...)
